Week One - Our Plan
Hello there. Well, you found our blog, congratulations! It's a good one; we're going to be discussing a whole manner of interesting things on here, hopefully you'll tag along for the ride.
So what is this darn blog, you might be asking.
And to that I say,... hold on, I shall tell you.
Our plan is simple. We're going to illuminate what it means to be a student in Japan, and just how it differs from being a student elsewhere (say, in Canada). We're going to hit this from a few different angles, but don't worry - no geometry involved, just fun, easy to digest blog posts.
We'll be gathering our information directly from the most wealthy of all sources - Japanese students. Since we're all fortunate enough to be studying abroad for a few weeks at Senshu University, we'll have access to the exhaustive wealth of information that is our new Japanese friends, their friends, their friends friends, and of course: our teachers!
And I know now you're probably salivating at the thought of learning all about senpais and kohais and the significance of yakisoba bread BUT you'll have to contain yourself until next week. For now, satiate yourself with some amazingly concise and provocative... introductions!
