Week One (part 2) - Meet the Bloggers!

Hi there. My name's Jesse. I just finished my second year at the University of Calgary majoring in East Asian Language studies, with a minor in English. No I didn't grow up watching anime, and NO I don't want to go to Akihabara (!!!). That said - my interest in Japan goes back as far as I can remember, and I one day hope to teach and/or translate Japanese.

Hello! I'm Emily, a University of Calgary student. I am an English major with a Japanese minor, and I just finished my second year. I hope to travel to Japan and teach English there! I'm interested in Japan mostly because of the old culture and tradition, and also the modern technology.

Hey, I'm Dara! I am currently a student at the University of Calgary and I am a doing a double major in Biological Sciences and Japanese. I will be going into my third year of university this fall. I hope to travel to Japan again in the near future, and visit as many places as possible! One day, I hope to help advance medical technologies, but until then I want to travel and study lots.
